The children urged the South Sudanese government to provide a safe and secure digital environment to learn, participate and play online; They acknowledge that the digital environment has its share of advantages and disadvantages and parents should play a significant role in guiding them on how to use the digital space and stay safe. To be able to advance and safeguard children’s well-being in South Sudan, the government was encouraged to ratify the African Charter on the Rights and Wellbeing of Children. The Child Rights Coalition promised to support the government and other stakeholders to carry out awareness of children’s rights in the digital environment through radio programs and at all levels across the country from now until the DAC commemorations next year.
