The Annual Partners Review, Reflection and Learning Meeting is a crucial event for the Network as it engages in partnerships with various stakeholders. This meeting serves as an opportunity to assess the progress, impact, and sustainability of the Network, reflect on the accomplishments and challenges of the past year, and strategize for the future. Members also get opportunity to share lived experiences and learn best practices from each other, thus enhancing knowledge sharing in advancing child rights advocacy across the region. It is a platform for fostering collaboration, transparency, and shared goals among EACRN and its partners.

The CSO Forum sessions bring together CSOs working on the rights and welfare of #children across Africa, key child rights experts, Development Partners, academics and researchers and African Union representatives. - Representatives from Civil Society Organizations

The 22 nd Ordinary session of the CSO Forum is scheduled to take place on the 5 th and 6 th November in Addis-Abba, Ethiopia. The theme of the Session is yet to be determined, pending communication on ACERWC’s theme. The ACERWC Sessions are scheduled to also take place in Addis Ababa, from 7 th November 2023.

The Committee holds two ordinary sessions each year. Sessions are the venue where the Committee engages various stakeholders to fulfill its promotion and protection mandate. The Committee considers State Reports on the implemetation of the Charter, examine Communications/Complaints submitted by CSOs about alleged violations of children's rights by State Parties. The Committee can also convene Extra-Ordinary Sessions when necessary.
