Membership of the EACRN is drawn from CSOs in Eastern African countries (under AU) and EAC. The EACRN draws its membership from national coalitions. This model allows the network to link with national child focused CSOs through their respective national coalitions. Currently, the network has membership from national coalitions from 7 Eastern African Countries.

The network envisions to secure membership from CSOs coalitions in Eritrea, Kenya, Djibouti, Comoros, Seychelles, Mauritius and Somalia.
