South Sudan ratifies the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

On 23rd January 2015, South Sudan became the latest country to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The EACRN joins other states and stakeholders in congratulating South Sudan on this development. The EACRN is also keen on working with the South Sudan Child Rights Coalition in the development of its initial report to the UNCRC Committee
